The Brief:
Notre Dame sought to expand Agile methodologies across IT, project management, and business operations, aiming for unified practices to improve efficiency, collaboration, and visibility. Existing processes were fragmented across multiple tools and manual exports/imports, limiting real-time insights and slowing Agile adoption.

What We Did:
Stridepath delivered a comprehensive advisory package focused on ServiceNow Agile 2.0 adoption, including:
• A step-by-step onboarding playbook and training materials tailored to teams adopting Agile across various roles like Scrum Users and Product Owners.
• Persona-based knowledge articles to clarify role responsibilities and Agile best practices.
• Training videos demonstrating how to effectively use ServiceNow’s out-of-the-box Agile dashboards and reporting features to gain actionable business insights.
• Support for transitioning from Monday.com and ClickUp to ServiceNow Agile, reducing tool fragmentation and licensing overhead.
• Integration of maintenance-of-business projects into the Agile workflows, linking tasks directly to asset and configuration records for seamless tracking.

Results:
• Leadership gains improved visibility through training that leverages native ServiceNow dashboards, empowering better decision-making.
• Manual, error-prone CSV export/import routines for asset-driven projects such as device refreshes are replaced by integrated Agile tracking within ServiceNow.

Notre Dame Case Study

University of Notre Dame Delivers Top-Tier Experience to Match Top-Tier Academics

The Brief:
Notre Dame HR had a goal to enable self-service, increase visibility, and provide a better employee experience. The department was leveraging ITSM for HR cases and wanted to transition to the HRSD scoped application and deploy a unified Employee Center. The University also had a very manual process for managing Positions throughout the University. They needed a solution that would support an automated workflow and allow hiring managers to collaborate with the multiple departments involved in position management.

What We Did:
To improve Notre Dame’s Employee Experience and to enable operational efficiency for HR service delivery, Stridepath implemented ServiceNow® HRSD, Employee Center Pro, and Case & Knowledge. The implementation included 20+ HR services, 1 custom position management application, a branded Employee Center, and more throughout this 43-week project.

Results:
In addition to automated processes, Notre Dame gained visibility and a well-branded portal. This portal is inspired by Notre Dame’s mission to provide a unified experience that is relevant, intuitive, and comprehensive. Increased visibility allows employees to easily see the status of their questions and requests. Overall, Notre Dame and Stridepath were able to meet the University’s goal to enable self-service, increase visibility, and provide a stronger employee experience.
