Sherwin Williams Transforms Onboarding for 64,000 Global Employees

The Brief:
Sherwin Williams was operating a complex onboarding process with over 40 variations throughout disparate systems. This approach created limited visibility into new hire status, resulting in extended time to productivity and delayed access to necessary equipment. These challenges compromised the efficiency of the onboarding process and hindered the overall user experience.

What We Did:
This project aimed to revamp Sherwin Williams’ onboarding experience by implementing HRSD Core and a new Pre-Hire Portal, creating a modernized platform for managers to effectively oversee new hires. The initiative sought to enhance the entire employee lifecycle, delivering a comprehensive onboarding experience (including Journeys) to increase productivity, retention, and satisfaction among a diverse range of new employees.

Results:
This project refined Sherwin’s onboarding process by consolidating 40+ processes into a standardized and efficient experience, reducing complexity and accelerating time to productivity for all personas. This approach has increased employee satisfaction and improved retention rates. Additionally, the enhanced pre-hire experience (fueled by the pre-hire portal) provides new hires with early access to Sherwin’s company culture and tools, creating a smoother transition and fostering earlier engagement.

Energizer – Recharging the Employee Experience

The Brief:
As one of the largest battery manufacturing companies in the world, it is imperative that Energizer can streamline their processes in order to drive case deflection and increase employee engagement. Energizer engaged ServiceNow® for HRSD when they replaced their HR Outsourcing Partner.

What We Did:
Stridepath applied HR Case Management, Knowledge Management, Employee Portal, and Employee Document Management.

Results:
A strong implementation by Stridepath created high customer satisfaction for Energizer. The company embraces the streamlined process as it creates a successful workday.

Visteon Case Study

Visteon – Solving HR Service Delivery with Sherlock & ServiceNow®

The Brief:
Visteon needed to improve organizational efficiency and make it easier for employees to get to the services they need including benefits, compensation, PTO and more.

What We Did:
Stridepath implemented the ServiceNow® HR Delivery platform and set up shared services across complex global regulations. Focusing on change management planning and taking a phased approach based on employee population, Stridepath deployed 21 services in just Phase 1.

Results:
To date, employees have submitted 1,600 cases and viewed 2,300 knowledge articles. Launched on time and on budget, 56% of cases are now handled at Tier 1 and just 14% of cases are handled by HR systems teams. These efficiencies have reduced the headcount required to support this level of requests & activity and allowed HR teams to focus on high value projects.
